Mr. Willie Hunter passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Chapman’s Healthcare.
Funeral Service for Mr. Willie Hunter will be 12:00 noon Friday, November 30, 2018 at Miracle Baptist Church with interment following in New Life Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Willie Hunter was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Hunter on April 12, 1932. He lived most of his adult life in Cleveland, Ohio and worked in many capacities. Mr. Hunter retired from General Motors in January 1990. After retirement, he moved back to Alexander City and joined Miracle Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Hunter, one sister, and five brothers.
On November 22, 2018, God came to Chapman Health Care, closed his loving eyes and whispered “peace abides at last.”
Those left behind to mourn and cherish his memories are one son: Qunnion Burns, Dadeville, Alabama; one grandson; Eric (Aronda) Russell, Montgomery, Alabama; one granddaughter; Qunnette McCoy, Enterprise, Alabama; two great-grandsons, Eric Russell, Jr. and Ethan Russell, both of Montgomery, Alabama; one greatgranddaughter, Janyia McCoy, Enterprise, Alabama; three sisters-in-law, Mildred Billings, Tucker, Georgia; Annie Jennings, Alexander City, Alabama; Velma Spratling, Daviston, Alabama; one brother-in-law, Virgil (Ruth) Burns, Alexander City, Alabama; a special niece and caregiver, Andrea Benson, Alexander City, Alabama and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
