Obituary For Wheeler Jones, Jr.
We are saddened to announce the peaceful transition of Mr. Wheeler Jones, Jr. of Dadeville, Alabama on April 17, 2024 surrounded with the love of his family.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in the sanctuary of Sardis Baptist Church with interment following in Mt. Zion East Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.
The season of life for Wheeler Jones, Jr. on January 31, 1965 to Fannie Louise Cox and Wheeler Jones, Sr. in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
Wheeler was employed by Russell Mill for 25 years. Wheeler and his son enjoyed cutting grass, repairing lawn mowers and weed eaters. In his spare time, he loved fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a die heart Auburn Tiger Fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fannie Louise Cox and Wheeler Jones, Sr. three brothers, Milton Moss, John Ed Cox, Andrea Jones, two sisters, LaRhonda Moss, Mary Lee Cox and one grandson, Bryce Milner.
Wheeler peacefully transitioned home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family.
Wheeler leaves to cherish his precious memories to his devoted wife, LaColya Jones, three loving daughters, Keioshua Goodman, Wyteria Young, Danielle Jones, one loving and dedicated son, Wheeler Rodricuze Jones, two sisters, Cynthia Jones, Mammie Jo Crayton, one brother, Antonio Jones, two aunts, Nellie Bledsoe, Otie Moss, step grandchildren, Harvey Darnell Canady, Kwan Tareek Walker, Keeyon Rye Walker, two special nieces, Cynteria Jones, Shondrekia Banks, a special cousin, Winchelle Jenkins, special friends, Mike Robinson, Tony Banks, Al Ford, Bobby Davis, Bobby Smart, Alex Davis, Jimmy Frank (Betty) Goodman, Charles Heron, Roger Pinkston, Kerry Adair, Frankie Jones, Frederick Moss and host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
