I was so sad to recently hear of the passing of MSG Virginia Hardy. She was a great person, a great leader, and an outstanding NCO. She was my platoon sergeant at KCo, 159 Avn during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I've thought of her often over the years and was proud to serve with her. The heavens have gained a true angel.

MSG Hardy, was a very good person. She was a hella NCO and my supervisor in Desert Storm. She was a friend to the end. I am sadden that I wasn't with her on her last day. She asked me to come and stay a week before she ascened. I told her that I could stay a few days after she get out of the hospital. She never got back with me. I called her today only to find out that she is gone. She received her wings and no more pain. Rest in peace my sister.
I am so sorry for your loss. Virginia was a wonderful person and friend. We had been friends all through school. May the Lord provide peace comfort and strength to endure all. Kathy Pitts Griffin Class of 75
