Obituary For Johnnie Benson
We are saddened to announce the peaceful transition of Mr.Johnnie Benson on Monday, Tuesday, August 19, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in the sanctuary of Mt.Pleasant Baptist Church with interment following in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 22, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Professional services are provided by Wright's Funeral Home.

Mr. Benson was truly a fine soul. Different in every way but had a heart of gold and would do anything for everybody. I have witness him leave a paying job just to go help a daughter, wife, nephew, grandchild and/or just someone he knew out when all he had was skill. No money or nothing just his skills was all he had to offer. He is missed already. We often times take time for granted. My daddy was everything to me and it is sad to say to here when I didn't let him know when I could or should have. That I will live with till my dying day. I loved my dad beyond measure. And know that he is gone, I'm thinking of all the ways, opportunities i missed just tho SHOW him how much he was loved and appreciated.
I miss you Daddy. I love you beyond measure. Rest well. You once told me that when your day come, all you want to hear is "Well Done", so I'm screaming with tears drying on my face, WELL DONE MR. JOHNNY NORMAN BENSON, WELL DONE. Rest Well.
