Mr. J B Crawford of Rockford, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Bill Nichols Veteran Home.
Funeral Service for Mr J B Crawford will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church, Kellyton, Alabama with interment following in the Church cemetery.
JB Crawford was born on November 8, 1932 to the late Mr. John O. Crawford and the late Mrs. Minnie B. Leonard Crawford in Coosa County Alabama. He joined Peace & Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He served in the United States Army. JB was a husband to Juliette Foster Crawford, devoted father and grandfather. He loved his children and they loved him. JB didn't talk much but when he did you knew to listen. He was a pioneer could do anything he thought of. JB leaves to cherish his memories; wife, Juliette Crawford; three daughters, Carla Webster (Gregory), Senovia Wilson (James), Ms. Sander Jackson; one brother Oscar B. Crawford (Katie); five sisters, Louise Miller, Johnnie Mae Maxwell, Mary Goggans all of Boston, MA, Allie Simpson of Georgia, Beatrice Worden (Gussie) of South Carolina; step-mother, Mrs. Ruby Crawford of Coosa County, Alabama, a host of grandchildren, great grand children, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one during times like this it seems nothing can console us but the Bible can.In God's word he promises that death would no longer have a hold on us,death will be gone. Death is that is an enemy according to 1Corinthians 15:26 and it will be brought to nothing. I pray that you find comfort from God's word and that he gives you the strength to endure this.
