We are saddened to announce the peaceful transition of Miss. Iris Canady on December 10, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024 in the sanctuary of Haven Chapel United Methodist Church at 185 Royston Street in Dadeville with interment following in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Camp Hill, Alabama.
The Family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.

Miss Canada was one of my favorite teachers . Because my desk sat right beside her ( seems I talked a lot) but I also saw a lot of things she did for students that she didn't have to do . She was always so kind to me & whenever I saw her throughout the years it was always with a big smile on her face & asking about my family. Go Rest sweet lady !❤️
My condolences to the Canady family. She definitely left a great impact on the lives she touch as librarian at Dadeville High School. She was always classy and kind to every person that crossed her path. She will be missed. She was such a lovely person with a sweet spirit.
