Ms. Eula Gaddis of Goodwater, Alabama passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral service for Ms. Eula Gay Gaddis of Goodwater, Alabama will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Marietta Baptist Church Cemetery, Goodwater, Alabama.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, 2018 at Wright's Funeral Home from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.
Mrs. Eula Gay Hayes Gaddis was born on April 16, 1945 in Millersville, AL to the union of Mr. Earlie Hayes and Mrs. Lonnie Mae Craig Hayes.
On May 7, 1966, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Leo Gaddis. She was employed with Tyson now known as Koch Foods for several years until her retirement. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, spending time with family and friends. She was a dedicated AUBURN TIGER FAN. On Sunday, June 17, 2018, she transitioned at her residence in Goodwater, Alabama to be with the Lord surrounded by the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earlie and Lonnie Hayes; four brothers, Willie James Hayes, Kerry Hayes, Almon Lee Hayes and Billy Ray Hayes; one sister, Mary R. Gaddis; one niece, Stacy Hayes; and a nephew, Bernard Hayes.
Her precious memories will live on in the hearts of her son, Leo (Darlene) Gaddis, Jr. of Goodwater, AL; three grandchildren, Vontavious L. Gaddis and Brandon O. Gaddis both of Goodwater, AL and Miechelle N. (Shamari) McGhee of Talladega, AL; three great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren; sisters, Earline Street and Inez Ballard both of Ashland, AL; Martha (Edward) Johnson of Goodwater, AL and Gay Dean Maxwell of Little Elm, TX; brothers, Thomas (Carolyn) Hayes of Ashland, AL; Micheal Hayes of Oxford, AL, and Allen (Dannette) Hayes of St. Augustine, FL.; sisters-in-law, Ann Laura Gaddis of Sylacauga, AL; Mary Lee(Dan) Strong of Cleveland, OH and Carolyn Gaddis of Goodwater, AL; brother-in-law, David Gaddis of Anniston, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
