I will like to express my sincere condolences to family and friends of Dr. Villafane. He was a great man and instructor who cared dearly for his students. Dr.Bob motivated me to join the Ph.D. program at ASU. I am extremely thankful for everything you have done for me, you will truly be missed. ~Veolanda

Dr. Villafane was an incredible mentor. He always inspired and motivated me to achieve my best. I will remember all the stories from New York to California to Tennessee and to Alabama. I appreciate Dr. Villafane so much for all he has done beyond being a mentor for my Environmentors Science fair project. Sending my prayers to the family and thanks Joan for being an amazing wife to Dr. Villafane.
