We are saddened to announce the transition of Donald West of Shelbyville, TN (formerly of Alexander City, Alabama) on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m on Sunday, February 9th, 2025 in the Chapel of Wright's Funeral Home with interment following in Hillview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time on Sunday.

I was so sorry to hear about Donnie's passing. May all of his precious loved ones find peace and comfort as they grieve the loss of their dear, wonderful loved one. Please know I am praying for all of you, and I CARE!!
On one of our conversations in January, Don paid me a high compliment. He said, "You know what? I really like talking to you." I am glad I was able to make him happy in that moment. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It has been an honor to spend joyful time with Don.
