We are saddened to announce the peaceful transition of Deacon Homer Burton of Alexander City, Alabama on Sunday, March 29, 2026, surrounded with the love of his family.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 2:00 in the Chapel of Wright's Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m.

A great citizen and an inspirational person has gone from our midst. Our community has lost a true soldier that was concerned about this community, not for personal profit, but for humanity's well being. He kept an eye on the things that God wanted him to do and worked hard at achieving for the glory of God not self. Goodbye Friend and hopefully more young men will rise up to stand in your place, caring for family, serving, mentoring, praying and just loving God. You did good!
