Obituary For Carey Banks
Mr. Carey Banks of Wadley, Alabama (formerly of Dadeville, Alabama) passed Friday, February 22, 2019.
Funeral Service for Mr. Banks, 56 of Wadley, Alabama (formerly of Alexander City, Alabama) will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in New Life Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 28, 2019 from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Carey Fred Banks was born to Willie Mae Price Banks and Kizer Banks, Sr. on July 22, 1962 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
Carey was educated in the Tallapoosa County School. He was an avid Auburn and Dallas Cowboys Fan. In 2000, he entered into Holy Matrimony and with the Love of his life, Mollie Heard. He was preceded in death by his parents. On February 22, 2019, surrounded by the love of his family God came and closed his loving eyes and whispered “peace abides at last.”
Those left behind to mourn and cherish his precious memories are his loving and devoted wife, Mollie Heard Banks, of Wadley, Alabama; two step-sons, Lajuan Heard and Marcus Heard, both of Wadley, Alabama; and his siblings, Carolyn Smart of Dadeville, Alabama, Kizer (Gwendolyn) Banks, Jr., Wanda Banks, Rodney Banks, Phyllis Banks, Shameka Banks and Henry Banks all of Alexander City, Alabama; one grandson, Justavious Heard; four sisters-in-law, Ophelia Lewis, Carolyn Drake, Yvonna White, and Geneva Hunter and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
