To: The Family of Richard Dove:
Whereas, again a human spirit has taken its flight at the call of the Heavenly Father to the mansion prepared for him from the foundation of the earth by an all-wise and loving God, we pen this condolence to express grief in the loss of the Uncle of Rev. Gregory Castile.
Whereas, the Family has lost a loyal member and the world has lost a noble character in the passing of Richard Dove we rejoice that his belief in the promise of God in 1 Corinthians 15:54 is now fulfilled. When this corruptible is clothed with incorruptible, and this mortal is clothed with immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Therefore, Be It Resolved: That, even as we mourn Richard Dove we are resigned to the all-wise Heavenly Father's will; That, we express our gratitude to God for having left this beautiful life among us for a time to blossom out and bless us with its sweetness and righteousness, like the fragrance of a rose; That we express to the Family and relatives who grieve today our deep sympathy in their loss and the reminder that their loss is heaven's gain. We therefore, resolve that a copy of this condolence is placed in our church records, and a copy sent to the family of the deceased.

I often tell others, if you have a beautiful moment, a rare moment, an unforgetable moment, file it away, so you can pull it out, when you have moments that are difficult to contend with. It is these memorable moments that will sustain you during difficult times.
It was the Spring of 2003, you heard dad was pretty sick. You came to look in on him.
It was a rare opportunity, one that would also be the first, and the last opportunity that I would witness my dad, and his big brother, interacting, talking, laughing, sharing, and reminiscing.
It was an adorable sibling relationship that inspired great affection. Not only was my dad glad to see you, it was obvious that he was proud of you beyond measure. The joy and excitment that he felt of having you present, could not be contained. Everything about him shouted, "This, is my big brother!"
I was fascinated. I'd heard so many interesting things about you. You were a legend in our home. Mom made sure of that. However, legends have beginnings. I wanted to soak up as much, and learn as much as I could about the 2 of you, and of our family. Looking at the 2 of you interact, was like watching my own brothers interact.
You, dad, and one of my brothers, repaired the fence in mom's front yard. It was a notable moment.
It was beautiful watching 2 brothers reunite after many years. The love between the 2 of you was so strong, I could feel it in my own heart.
You had wisdom, dad had understanding, and for a moment, I had the 2 of you...to love, to admire, and to cherish.
I didnt want that moment to end. Over the years we wrote to on another, sometimes called.
I love you Uncle Bang. Thank you, for that beautiful memory. Your Niece, daughter of George and Ruthie Castile
