Conrad, or as we came to know him as "Pa Pa King" exemplified the concept of a good neighbor. He was the consummate "Kool Aide - Dad" Whenever my grandchildren visited from out of state, the highlight of their visit was to see "Pa Pa King...and all his grandchildren." I think they spent more time with "Pa Pa King" than they did with us! I will miss his barbeque, the beautiful delicious, vegetables that seemed to spontaneously grow from his garden. He was a modern day "Johnny Apple Seed." But the seeds he planted have left us all evergreen. We love you and will miss you terribly. Mike and Pat Dixon, Neighbors
Conrad was a great man, I knew him in the Army as a Drill Sgt and then as a member of our Church as well as Doris his wife who I worked beside for many years, we also enjoyed sports with our Grandson's, during soccer season they were on the same team. Conrad's loves for his wife, kids and Grandson were unmeasurable. Great example of a family and Godly man.Doris you're in my prayers.
Conrad, we will ALL miss you. You were a great husband, father, and Papa to all your grandchildren. Not only that, you were a great friend to all who had the privilege to call you a friend. Thank you for also being a Godfather who never failed to attend your Goddaughter's games. You fed many and brought joy and laughter to all. You will forever live in our hearts and memories. Rest in Heavenly Peace, my Friend. You shall be deeply missed. My deepest condolences to my Sweet Doris, her loving children and family. We weep with you all and will be alongside you during this very sad season in time.
Rest in peace my friend.

I will always remember that quiet spirit and huge heart. The jokes that he would make with me that only he found funny. I would just shake my head. He meant what he said and said what he meant. If Conrad said he was going to do something or help you, he always kept his word. That was without question. He always went above and beyond without complaint. He had a green thumb that was unimaginable. He would grow super vegetables (especially Zucchini) just to give away. My heart aches at this lost. My prayer to the family and all who knew him is to remember the love and laughter he gave to all that was blessed to know him. Rest easy my friend.
