Sharing in your sorrow. With love and friendship.
Roderick and Stephanie, It was with a profound sense of sadness that I received news of your mom's passing. I often associate events or encounters with adults who were significant to my childhood. As such, I will always remember your mom for her engaging smile, soft voice, both of your birthday celebrations at Essie Lee Floyd Daycare and the miniature Hershey bar candy she gave trick-or-treaters who called at 903 N 10th Avenue on Halloween. I'm certain that your memories of your mom, your dad, your nana and your baby brother are even more profound. Please cherish those memories in the coming days and years as you mourn her passing but more importantly celebrate her legacy. May God bless and keep you.
