Shondra Latryce Williams was born August 15, 1974 in Chambers County, Alabama to the parentage of Marie Williams and Napoleon Patterson.
She grew up in Valley, Alabama, and was educated in Chambers County School District, as a proud member of Valley High School, Class of 1993.
Shondra dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a home caregiver where she treated every client as if they were her own family. Her nurturing spirit and tireless work ethic often saw her giving her all, sometimes working around the clock, to make sure those under her care were never in need.
Known for her vibrant personality and infectious energy, Shondra had a gift for bringing joy into any room. She could turn an ordinary day into a celebration and never missed an opportunity to brighten someone’s spirits. She was spunky, stylish, and full of life. She never left the house without her makeup, lashes, and perfectly coordinated outfits—always matching “to a T.”
A former basketball player at Valley Jr. High, Shondra remained a loyal fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. She also had a special love for Walmart, often finding joy in the simplest pleasures.
Above all, Shondra was a fiercely loving mother. Her children were the center of her world, and she made sure they were always taken care of—right up until the very end. Her love extended beyond her own children, as she also reared her niece as a daughter with unwavering dedication.
