Tyner, Mrs. Stella Mae, a resident of Valley, AL, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at EAMC-Lanier Memorial Hospital, Valley.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) from Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1512 River Road, Valley, AL with Pastor Robert L. Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Valley, AL. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing. Public Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.
A faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Mrs. Tyner enjoyed working with the Sunbeam Choir and being a member of the Senior Choir.
Her survivors include: four sons and two daughters, John Will, Jr. (Bettye B.) Tyner, West Point, GA, Robert L. (Gloria) Tyner, Lanett, AL, Vernita (Emanuel) Fuller, Columbus, GA, John Otis (Bettye J.) Tyner, Elton Tyner and Margaret Tyner all of Valley, AL; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Jones, Temple, GA; five brothers, John McCulloh, Haynie (Lilly) McCulloh, Ocie Lee, Jr. (Francis) McCulloh and Jessie McCulloh all of Chicago, IL and Andy McCulloh, Fayetteville, GA; two brothers-in-law, Arthur Milford, Valley, AL and Tommie Boyd, Memphis, TN; and; a host of other relatives, extended family and friends.
Heaven has gained a beautiful angel in Mrs. Stella. She was a true and genuine friend to my mother Ardell.
