Mrs. Idalene Avery Holloway, a resident of Lanett, AL, died Monday, April 13, 2026 at her residence.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (EST) from Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 420 N. 12th Avenue, Lanett, AL, Rev. Frederick James, Ph.D., Pastor/Officiant and Rev. Michael Stiggers, Eulogist.

Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery, 5231 County Road 389, Cusseta, AL. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (EST) at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.

She is survived by: one beloved daughter, Millicent M. Triplett, Lanett, AL; one amazing, loving brother, Robert L. Avery (Barbara), Loomis, CA; three wonderful, caring sisters, Mary D. Reed and Velvilan A. Combs (Ralph) both of Lanett, AL and Sharon A. Barrow (LaManuel) Omaha, NE; 11 loving nieces; six amazing nephews; and, a host of great-nieces & nephews; other relatives and friends.
