Ms.Carolyn Askew Meadows, a resident of Lanett, AL, died Monday, July 17, 2023 at Bethany House Hospice in Auburn, AL.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. (EST) on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Zion Rest Cemetery, Fob James Drive, Valley, AL with Rev. Horace Willis as Officiant/Eulogist. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.
Public Viewing is scheduled for Friday, July 21, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.
Her survivors include: three children, Beverly (Forrest) Billingslea and Carey (Paulette) Askew both of Valley, AL and Deanna Askew, Lanett, AL; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mavis (Beauford) Traylor and Bonnie R. Askew-Etuk; two brothers, Marvin (Mary Helen) Askew and Randy Askew; sister-in-law, Mary Frances Askew; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
