Darden, Mr. Fred D., a resident of Valley, AL, died Saturday, April 2, 2022 at his residence.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Marseilles Cemetery, West Point, GA with Pastor Connie Hall as Eulogist and Rev. David Hill presiding. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.
Mr. Darden, 79, was born in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Mr. John Darden, Sr. and Mrs. Mary Lizzie Carter Darden.
His survivors include: his devoted wife of 60 years, Pastor Alice P. Darden; four sons, Frederick (Bridget) Darden, LaGrange, GA, Dwayne (Chalena) Darden and Rev. Ricky Darden both of Atlanta, GA and Reggie Darden, Oxnard, CA; two daughters, Sherry Carter Dunn, Valley, AL and Cassandra Darden Morgan, Atlanta, GA; 28 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annie Edwards, Valley, AL and Martha A. Hervey, LaGrange, GA; son-in-law, Kenneth Jackson, Newnan, GA; three brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and, a host of other loving relatives and friends.
