Obituary For Mr. Bryant Ross
Ross, Mr. Bryant D., a resident of Decatur, GA and former resident of Valley, AL, died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. (EST) from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel, Valley, AL with Rev. Willie G. Wimberly, Officiating and Deacon Calvin P. Ross, Eulogist.
Bryant was a 1977 graduate of Lafayette High School of Buffalo, NY. He was employed with the DeKalb County Police Department as a 911 Communications Operator for Emergency Medical Services. Bryant was a member of Mt. Paran Church of God in Atlanta, GA.
His survivors include: his godchild, Pierce Jordan-McNeill "PJ", Atlanta, GA; sisters, Josephine (Jim) Chappell, Wedowee, AL, Marilyn Johnson, Conyers, GA, Angela Holstick, Opelika, AL, Denise (Norris) Johnson, Atlanta, GA, Latrise (Miyoshi) Johnson, Tuscaloosa, AL, Dorothy Ann Burns, Cleveland, OH and his devoted sister, Gwendolyn Ross (Cleveland) Bailey, Valley, AL; brothers, Marvin (Saundra) Johnson and Melvin Johnson both of Atlanta, GA, Calvin (Sallie) Ross, Columbus, GA, Eddie Ross, Valley, AL and Keith (Lorraine) Ross, Greenville, SC; an uncle, Frank Kirk, Melrose Park, IL; two aunts, Margaret Kirk, Lanett, AL and Lula Kirk, Anniston, AL; sister-in-law, Gladys Ross, Valley, AL; stepmother, Beatrice Ross, Bessemer, AL; step-brothers, Claude (Betsy) Benton, Phenix City, AL and Gerald (Kim) Benton, Bessemer, AL; step-sister, Deborah (Leonard) Anderson, Columbus, GA; devoted cousins, Dr. Rosalyn Washington, Scottsdale, GA and Kathy Shields, Salisbury, NC; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including his devoted special friend, Danny Singleton, Atlanta, GA.
