Mr. Steven Earl Hill, 62, formerly of Valley, passed away on Tuesday, December 2nd at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. Mr. Hill was born on February 21, 1963 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

After high school, Mr. Hill was employed as an iron worker and an assembly line worker.

His hobbies included arts and crafts, Pokémon, playing games on his phone and woodworking. He loved his family very much.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel R. Shirey (Bryant). Survivors include his father, Iverson E. Hill, wife Melissa A. Hill (Jenkins), nine children, Violet R. Hill (Hagler), Rabeka I. Brentnall (Oak), Houston B. Hill, Steven Brentnall (Mikel), Patrick T. Hill, Felicia J. Brentnall (Floyd), Anechia L. Brentnall, Brittney D. Granthem (Hill) and Gabriel L. Jenkins. Survivors also include his sister, Teresa L. Hill (George), and father-in-law Vincent Lovely.

The family will have a private service for Mr. Hill at a date to be announced.
