Obituary For Rhonda Jeanne Jordan (Perry)

Rhonda Jeanne Jordan (Perry) age 69, of Phenix City, Alabama, born December 26, 1955 born in Anaheim, California to Aubrey Johnny Perry and Blanche Strain Perry entered into The Lord’s Kingdom December 8th, 2025 at St. Francis-Emory Hospital of Columbus.

Proceeding into glory with her beloved Daughter, Laura “Nikki” Trammell, life long love, Roger Dale Driver, both of her parents, her siblings, and many more family and friends.

Leaving behind a legacy far greater than words can touch. Nieces and nephews, Irene ‘Perry’ husband Ricky Bailey, Sandra ‘Perry’, husband Robert Reece, Darlene ‘Perry’, husband Kevin Crawley, Denise Wilson, and Pam ‘Wilson’ Betancourt. A son, Craig Perry, daughter in love Pamela Perry. A chosen daughter, Mandie Smith. And deeply loved by her son in love, Demetrius Trammell Sr. Her grandchildren in which she took great joy- Kierra Trammell, Christian Sturkie, “Mikey” Sturkie, Deanna Perry, Blake Perry, Bradley Perry, and Dokata Perry. As well as her great grandchildren, Kalani Carrell, Kataleya Carrell, Kingston Carrell, Koda Carrell, and Bretlee Sturkie. With many more she took in with love, acceptance, and guidance who knew her not as Rhonda but as Granny, Miss. Rhonda, Mom, and GiGi.

She was a woman who openly sat with the sinners, turning their heads and hearts to our Father in heaven, never leaving someone on a path of unrighteousness, she spread the love of Jesus to all that knew her, not for her own praise but to bring them to the Kingdom she has now entered into. She served the greater valley area at Lanier Memorial Hospital for years and went onto giving end of life care for so many even after. She will be carried in the hearts of all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

To love her was to know her, and to love her was to know the God we serve.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, December 20th, at 11:00 AM EST, at Valley Point Funeral Home.
