Mrs. Willie Carol James, 85, of West Point Georgia passed away on June 13, 2020 in Marietta, Georgia. Carol was born in Jackson MS on June 26, 1934 to the late Lige and Della Nash. Carol was raised in Tchula, MS, graduated high school at Singleton High School in Carthage MS, and married to the late William Mackool James. Carol retired from Goetze Gasket Company in LaGrange Georgia and was a member of Roper Heights Baptist Church in West Point Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her; son William James Jr.; and Grandson Brandon James.
Carol is survived by her sons Joseph(Debra) James of Newnan GA, Billy James, and Michael James; grandchildren Bryan(Sharilyn) James of Starkville MS, Johnathan James of Tallapoosa Georgia, Johanna James(Landon) McElroy, of Tallapoosa GA, Andrew(Taylor) James of Brandon MS., and Christopher(Susanna)James of Orlando FL; greatgrandchildren Triston James, Bralin James, Alycia James, Abby James, Hannah James, Noah James, and Brody McElroy.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm EDT at Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett, AL.
