Marvin Lee White, 56, passed away February 10, 2026 after a brief illness. He was born August 21, 1969 to the late Dewey and Jimmie Lou White.
Lee was a dreamer and a searcher. He loved his family and friends, being a truck driver, his dogs and Alabama football. He loved camping and gadgets. He could catch a fish with a homemade hook or build a fire with whatever was lying around. Lee was a good listener and a good friend. He was all of this and so much more. He will be missed by many!
In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Anne Robinson, his fraternal grandparents Newt and Clara White and his sister, Linda Joyce Schlomer.
He is survived by his daughters, Wendy White, Lilac York, and Taylor Osbahr, grandchildren, Levin and Freya Todd and Julia and Dean Osbahr. Survivors also include his siblings, Rebecca (Billy) McCollough, Deborah (Terry) Wasson, Chris (Molly) McCollough, Sherry (Shannon) Smith, and brother-in-law Tony Schlomer. Other survivors include his nephews James (Sarah) Stilwell, Terry (Abbey) Stilwell, Devon McCollough, Spencer Smith, Michael (Christina) Schlomer and niece, Shelby McCollough, thirteen great nieces and nephews, and innumerable friends he thought of, and who thought of him, as family.
Visitation for Marvin Lee White will be at 10:00 AM on March 14, 2026, at Davidson Baptist Church, 2921 GA-18, West Point, Georgia with a Memorial Service to follow. Preacher Aaron McCollough will be officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
