Love, Stacy Speas and your Horseshoe Bend family
I knew Marty through Horseshoe Bend National Military Park, where we were both Living History volunteers. Marty was an enthusiastic, eager and always friendly volunteer, and I very much enjoyed working with him. My deepest condolences to his family on his untimely passing.
Godspeed, Fare Well, and Rest Easy, Good Sir. May God's Comfort bring us some measure of His Peace in the shared loss of our Brother Compatriot. We will not question God for taking Marty from us so soon, but will Thank God for letting us have him for the time we did. Marty, we Salute you for your service to the Community and your dedication to the teaching of our History. We look forward to a joyful reunion when we, too, cross over The River and rest with you, 'neath The Shade of The Tree.
