James “Jim” Hatton, 87, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at EAMC in Opelika, Alabama.
A Rosary will be held on Sunday December 19, 2021 at 6:30 PM EST followed by Visitation at Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett, Alabama.
Funeral Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lanett, Alabama on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM EST. Burial and Graveside Services will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama following the Funeral Service. Father Bruce Krause will officiate.

Mr. Jim was a huge part of the life of my family from 1973-1981. He and Ms. Julia were close family friends, belonging to the same church. I remember him with so much love. His teasing nature of me and my little sisters, his genuine interest in the lives of us bunch of kiddos, his immovable faith and eagerness to share it. He was our other safe man besides Dad. The one we could count on. And the couple physically made Christmas magic for us every year. I'm so grateful I got to talk to him this year. What a gift. May you rest in God's Hands, Mr. Jim.
Mr Jim was such a nice man. He will truly be missed. Rest in peace.
