Obituary For Eugene Warner Kollar

Mr. Eugene Warner Kollar passed away on August 4ᵗʰ, 2025, at Thrive Senior Living Center in Columbus, Georgia. Mr. Kollar was born on December 27th, 1945, in Bethesda, Ohio. He graduated from South Central High School and attended Baldwin Wallace College. Mr. Kollar worked as a Systems Analyst for the State of Colorado for several years. Mr. Kollar had many hobbies. He enjoyed running, cars, music, skiing, and mountain hiking.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Reverand Erdis and Pauline Kollar. He is survived by a sister Joyce Neill (Ralph) of Ames Iowa and a brother Curtis Kollar (Sandy) of LaGrange, Georgia. He is also survived by two nieces, Marta Neill of Ankeny, Iowa and Natalie Oppel (Craig) of Muscatine, Iowa.

There is a Memorial Service planned for Saturday, August 9ᵗʰ at 11:00 EDT in the chapel of the West Point First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Nature Conservancy.
