Obituary For Annie Ruth Belcher Miles
Annie Ruth Belcher Miles, 92, of Lanett passed away on April 12, 2020 at EAMC-Lanier in Valley, Alabama.
Ms. Annie Ruth was born in Lanett, Alabama on April 14, 1927 to the late Horald and Molly Frankie House Sorrell. She was a skilled beautician and owned her own beauty shop for many years. She was a member of Lanett Congregational Christian Church where she played the piano and organ. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; Spouses Joe S. Belcher, Sr. and Junior Miles; sister Joyce Sorrell; and daughter Peggy Belcher Webb.
She is survived by sons Joe S. (Pat) Belcher, Jr., Bob (Joy) Belcher; son-in-law Bill Webb; grandchildren Alana Belcher (Dave) Sirmans, Angel Belcher (Guthrie) Wallace, Jacob T. (Chrissie) Belcher, Joseph W. Webb, and Jamie Waldrop; nine great grandchildren; sister Hylance G. Mahan and brother Hugh (Paula) Sorrell.
Due to current restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Services have been entrusted to Bluffton Funeral Services, Lanett, Alabama.

Bob,so sorry for the loss of your mother,heard my relatives speak of her many times down through the yrs,we were some how related on my grandmother 's side,she was a Sharp also,just recently lost my mom,no one can express the lost of a mother,know the hurt & heartache u are feeling right now,prayers & thoughts for you & the family.

Joe, Bob and families......I was so sorry to hear of Miss Annie Ruth's passing. She did my mother's hair for MANY years....(Amelia Auchmuty). She also tried SO many times to give me a permanent, when I was little......it was always too much or too little......we had a lot of laughs about that but she and my mom were trying so hard...she lived a good life and touched a lot of people. Hugs and prayers.
