Obituary For Anita Rose Bolt Arwood
Anita R. Bolt Arwood passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, September 12th 2023.
A memorial is planned for Saturday, September 16th at Bluffton Funeral Services .
Visitation will begin at 2:00 EDT with the memorial service at 3:00. Full obituary to follow.
Anita was born April 1st 1957 in Valley Al. to the late Murray Joe Bolt and Odie Lorene Bolt of Lanett Al.
Mrs. Arwood was an employee of Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley Al. She worked in the registration department and the business office for 25 years. After leaving the hospital she went to Care South Home Health as a secretary.
Anita was a loving and faithful wife and mother of three children. She loved her dogs and had countless one's over the span of her life-time, and could tell you stories about each and every one.
Mrs. Arwood loved her grandchildren and always loved for them to visit. She was very dedicated to her family and close friends. She was a die-hard Alabama fan and watching the games was an annual thing in her home. "Roll Tide."
She is survived by her husband of 38yrs Kenneth Blake Arwood. She is also survived by her three children, Jaclyn Rose Bolt 43 of Birmingham Al, Donald Eugene Bolt 41 of Lanett Al, and Matthew Blake Arwood 38 (Brittany Nicole Ramey 35) of Lanett Al. Her grandchildren Olivia Rose Arwood, John Thomas Arwood, Joseph Blake Bolt, Braylie Michelle Bolt. Also she is survived by her best friend Deena Kirk Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her brother the late Edward Eugene Taylor of Tallassee Al.
Mrs Arwood was truly adored by her family and friends. She will be missed dearly. She may not be by their side, but will be forever in their hearts.
