Wonza Crowder was born to Billy and Mary Crowder on January 13, 1974. She grew up
surrounded by faith, family, and a love for life that would define her journey.
A proud graduate of LaGrange High School, Class of 1992, Wonza went on to earn her Nursing
degree from West Georgia Technical College in 2007, graduating top of her class and serving as
Class President. She began her career at Milliken Hillside and went on to build a respected
nursing career marked by compassion, leadership, and dedication to others.
Wonza was deeply devoted to her family—especially her three daughters and grandchildren, who
were the joy of her life. She shared a special bond with her nephew, Corion, and her great niece
and nephew, all of whom she adored dearly. Her kindness, humor, and radiant smile made every
space brighter.
A true lover of life, Wonza enjoyed traveling, dancing, and spending time with her loved ones.
She was an enthusiastic Georgia Bulldogs and Pittsburgh Steelers fan and carried that same
energy into everything she did. Guided by her unwavering faith in God, she faced life’s
challenges with strength and grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, aunt, uncles, and her bonus sister, Chrisla Johnson.
Wonza leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughters: Prichella S. Crowder, Ashleigh N.
Crowder, and Jada E. Crowder; her grandchildren, Aiden and Maryauna Crowder; her nephew,
Corion M. Stevens; her siblings, Mark A. Alford and Jennifer M. Crowder; her special sisters,
Towani Irvin, Sha Ogletree, and Elfrade Boddie; her god-sisters, Kellie J. Williard and Brenda P.
Pritchett; and her lifelong friend, David Moore.
Though she is no longer with us, Wonza’s spirit will live on through the love, laughter, and faith
she shared with all who knew her.

Wonza, thank you for supporting Camryn during his cancer journey. He talked about you often when you were his nurse on the Pediatria Van Rides home. It gave me comfort to know you were riding with him helping to keep him safe. I pray God bless you with his greatest reward. Your sweet spirit and contagious laughter will me missed. See you later, Angela
