Obituary For Samuel Hill
We regretfully announce the passing of Mr. Samuel Hill, age 56, of Stafford, Virginia, on Friday, February 20, 2026. Mr. Hill was a graduate of Hogansville High School and retired as a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Mt. Perria Baptist Church, located at 2942 Mobley Bridge Road in Hogansville, Georgia.
Pastor Dwight Hardaway will officiate and Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery #2 located on Cousins Road in Greenville, Georgia.
Public viewing will be Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home
The Family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at the Church.
Arrangements entrusted to Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.

Y'all were my last 2 big cousins left on my mother brother side my uncle Willie, your father, i remember when we all went to Six Flags together Uncle Willie took all of us when I was still in elementary school. I love β€οΈ every single moment. And when the spring break and summer time came I spent my spring and summer and some holidays with Aunt Mary and you and Nene!! Big Cousin I'm going to miss you π’ so very much!! Omg I can't believe this!! We always Facebook messenger each other and FaceTime each other, especially when the new cigars or a different brand of liquor was coming out and sweets and new chip.
