We regretfully announce the passing of Mrs. Ollie B. Parks, age 84, of Luthersville, Georgia on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church located at 2950 Primrose Road, Greenville, Georgia 30222. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The Public viewing will be held on Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
Ollie B Colton Parks was born August 24, 1941, to the late John Walter and Missouri Colton. She was born in Meriwether County. On Sunday, November 16, 2025, she peacefully transitioned to an eternal sleep at Wellstar Medical Center in Lagrange, GA, surrounded by her loving family.
Mother Ollie grew up in Luthersville and Zion Hill Community. She attended Luthersville Adult School. She worked many years at Royal Molder Company and left there and worked 20 years at the William L. Boonell Company.
Mother Ollie joined Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She was in the senior choir where she served faithfully. She was a choir member in the New Mount Bethel Baptist church choir for many years.
Mother Ollie loved to sing. She was one of Luthersville's songbirds. She sang at many churches and at many funerals. She had a smile that would brighten your day and a conversation for everyone. Mother Ollie also loved cooking, making cakes and pies. She enjoyed being with her family.
Ollie was united in holy matrimony to her sweetheart, Boise Parks Jr. Together, they were the proud parents of five children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Boise Parks Jr., Son - Jeffery Parks, Father -John Walter, Mother - Missouri Colton, Sisters - Roszella Rosser, Emma Tennie and Fannie Colton, Brothers - Ben Lee and Walter Colton. Special friend - Willie Lee Clements Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories four children. Rosa Marie Parks, Willie Junoir Parks, Pastor James David Parks (Shelia) and Mary Elizabeth Jackson (Reginald Sr). One sister, Dorothy Parks of Luthersville, One Brother, Bishop McArthur Colton (Seronia) of Newnan. Brother-in-law Ervin Parks and Lorenza Parks. Sister-in -law Marie Parks, Elizabeth Stephens and Martha Jean Parks. Sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great-great-grandchildren. Others cherish her memories, including nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
