Obituary For Marie Goode Houston
We respectfully announce the passing of Mrs. Marie Goode Houston, age 57, of Franklin, Georgia on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Stateline Baptist Church Cemetery located on Glenn Road in Franklin, Georgia. Pastor Ruben M. Simpson (True Word Praise and Worship Center) will officiate.
Public viewing will be held Thursday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Due to COVID-19 concerns everyone in attendance at the Graveside and the viewing must wear a mask and social distancing is encouraged.
Mrs. Marie Goode Houston passed away peacefully at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, Friday, October 1, 2021. she was born February 29, 1964 in Heard County to the late Carter Goode Sr. and Clara Bless Echols Goode. She was a member at True Word Praise and Worship Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carter Goode Sr. and Clara Bless Echols Goode; Sister Clara Mae Person.
Mrs. Marie Houston leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband Anthony Houston; sons Termaine (Randi) Houston, Skylar Houston, Karsen Houston; JonVonquavious Dukes (JD); her sisters Carlyon Joyce Ross, Janice M. Goode, Katherine Goode, Linda (Rawleigh) Green; brothers Curter Goode Jr., Curtis (Barbara) Goode; two very close nieces Laticia Rawshaye Green, Kimberly Ann Goode; sisters-in-law Shelia Denise (Michael) White, Priscilla Elaine Taylor; brother-in-law Michael (Marilyn) Epps.
