Obituary For Emily Mae Gamble
We respectfully announce the passing of Mrs. Emily Mae Gamble, age 92, of LaGrange, Georgia on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at her residence in LaGrange.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 14, 2023 at St. Paul AME Church located at 301 Poplar Street in Hogansville, Georgia.
Donnie Graves, Pastor and Pastor C. F. Stembridge, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be Thursday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
Arrangements entrusted to Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.

My heart felt condolences to the Gamble family..I loved Ms Emma as well and I want to thank Joann-Shelia -Gloria jean and Becky for sharing your Mom with me showing me love like her own..thank you for welcoming me whenever I wanted to stop by to see Ms Emma..I would often thank Ms Emma for taking us in when our house burned downed and she made room even thou she had a house full...I Love you Ms Emma you meant the world to me and I'll forever cherish the memories and awesome friendship we had..
My deepest condolences to you, Joann, and the entire family in the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother, Mrs. Emma, as we called her. She and my mother, the late Mrs. Johnnie Kate McGhee, were life-long good friends. As a child, I remember that whenever she came to our house, the one thing that always stood out to me about Mrs. Emma was that beautiful smile she had! And she was always smiling! So now, I pray that God will provide the strength, comfort and peace for the family that's needed right now and in the following days to come. May Mrs. Emma peacefully rest in heaven.
