Eddie Joe Beasley

I was saddened to learn that Eddie Joe passed. Over the years, we would laugh and talk about our long friendship. He was a great dancer and was gentle and smooth with his dance partner. Eddie Joe gave me the nickname ice pick (because I would get my hair cut really close to my skull). He will be greatly missed as he lived a faithful and spirit-filled life. Rest in peace, and we will meet again as we transition to our Lord and Savior.

Eddie, my friend and former classmate! You will be miss by everyone that knew you. You have been a confidant to many, a great father and community servant. If someone was down, just a chuckle from you would rekindle their spirit. It was just a couple of weeks ago, we had a talk as many mornings. At that time, I did not know how ill you were, because you have always thought of others and showed us how unselfish you were. You were there for your classmates and whomever need a helping hand.
