We respectfully announce the passing of Mrs. Dianne Brewer Mayner of Luthersville, Georgia on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Sunnyside Baptist Church located at 6549 Callaway Road, Georgia Highway 362, Greenville, Georgia 30222. Reverend Reginald Godfrey, Pastor, officiating and Reverend Lamar Godfrey, Eulogist.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
Due to COVID-19 concerns everyone in attendance at the viewing and the Graveside must wear a mask and social distancing is encouraged.
Mother Dianne Brewer Mayner was born on April 27, 1954, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late John W. Brewer and Thelma Hardaway Brewer. Dianne was the second youngest daughter born to this union. She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 28, 2022, surrounded by her loving husband, John, sons, and sisters at Piedmont Hospital in Newnan, Georgia.
She joined New Friendship at an early age and later joined Sunnyside Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend W.R. Chunn. She was a graduate of the Greenville Consolidated High School in Greenville, Georgia, in the class of 1973.
John and Dianne were united in holy matrimony on October 14, 1974. To this union, four children were born, one of whom preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Thelma Brewer; one child, Derrick Mayner; one brother, John W. Brewer, Jr.; one sister-in-law, Kaynell Smith; and one brotherin- law, Randy D. Mayner (Brenda).
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, John H. Mayner, Jr., of Luthersville, Georgia; three sons, John A. Mayner and Jonathan A. Mayner (Sholanda), both of Luthersville, Georgia, and Terrance L. Mayner (Jennifer) of Burlerson, Texas; three sisters, Pauline Hunter (Retired Colonel Cardell) of Manassas, Virginia, Edna Price (Roger) of Hogansville, Georgia, and Patricia Frazier (Wayne) of Greenville, Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Emma Jean Davis and Sadie J. Caldwell, both of Luthersville, Georgia; one brotherin- law, Vincent “Cebo” Mayner of Luthersville, Georgia; two daughters-in-love, Kinzie Gates and Khaliah Cook; special love, Jamal “Tutu” Mayner; fifteen grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; caregivers, Hilda Jackson and Barbara Ann Woodall; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
