Anthony Andrew Stargill, beloved son of Inetha and Luke Stargill, was born on July 24, 1966, in
Troup County, Georgia.
From an early age, he was known for his kind spirit and infectious smile. He received his
education through the Troup County School System and later continued his academic journey at
the historic Tuskegee University, where he built lasting memories and friendships.
He dedicated many years of his life working at Tru-Color Vision, where he was respected for his
work ethic and admired for his easygoing nature and warm heart. A proud Georgia native, he
was a passionate sports fan. He took great joy in cheering on his favorite teams, the Georgia
Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves.
On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, Anthony transitioned peacefully into eternal rest, with his family
lovingly by his side and loved ones close by in support and spirit.
He was welcomed into eternity by those who went before him: his parents, Inetha Stargill and
Luke Stargill; his sister, Beatrice Marie Cameron; his brother, Bernard Dixon; his aunt, Florence
Stargill Raglin; and his uncles, Willie Jim Stargill, Sammie Stargill, and Richard Stargill.
Anthony’s memory lives on in the hearts of those who will forever honor his life and legacy: his
devoted wife, Cindy L. Stargill; his three children, Andrew, Kayla, and Adam Stargill; and his two
cherished grandchildren, London Hardy and Kylo Stargill. He is also lovingly remembered by his
brothers, Brian (Cynthia) Stargill and Jerome (Sylvia) Gates; his sisters, Inetha (Von) Hatten and
Gwendolynn A. Gates; bonus brother, Tracy Truitt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
extended family, and friends.
Anthony lived a life marked by love and grace. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives
on in every life he touched.
