Obituary For James Glenn Gullatt

Mr. James Glenn Gullatt, age 59, of Franklin passed away January 9, 2018.

A memorial service was conducted January 13, 2018 from the chapel at Stutts Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry McKee officiating.

Mr. Gullatt was born August 24, 1958 in Douglas County, GA to the late Fred Louis Gullatt and Mary Rachel Hall Gullatt.

His most precious times were spent with his family. He loved to get together with everyone for food and fellowship.

Survivors include: two sons: Joshua Gullatt of Franklin and Brett Nolan of Grayson, GA; one daughter, Kala Wilkie of Roanoke; grandchildren: Rileigh Yeargan, Nathen Gullatt, Anna Lynn Gullatt, and Abby Faith Gullatt; one sister, Sandra Smith of Mt. Zion; two brothers: Kenneth Gullatt of Franklin and Steve Gullatt (Amanda) of LaGrange; nieces and nephews: Travis Gullatt, Lorelynn Gullatt, Kellie Daniels, and Kenny Daniels; and a number of other relatives and friends.

James Glenn Gullatt was my father. From the time I was born he was nothing short of amazing. He was a caring gentle father who was there to support me and be there for me 110% of the time.He was the type of man that got respected by everyone every time he walked in the room without ever having to ask for it.My dad(James Gullatt) made sure everytime I was with him that he thought me an/or showed me everything I needed to succeed in life in every single way possible. He was the only person I can say never told me one single lie my whole life. He is the prime example of not only a father but he set the standard for what a real man is. I didn't realize how much of a impact he made in this world with so many people until after he passed, its been over 4 years now and someone is always coming to me telling me stories or memories of my father they shared with him that I never knew about or heard b4. And that happens on a daily basis almost. I miss him so much. Everyday I come across something he told me or taught me how to do. I am broken and hurt without his presence anymore.Ill forever miss and love you Dad. Your son,Joshua March 27,2022
