Mr. Willie Lee Hunter passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the age of 79. He was born on March 1, 1947, to the late Matthew Hunter and Rowena Wilkerson Hunter in Bessemer, AL.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Hunter will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., graveside at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m., with a wake beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Progressive.
