Mr. Willie Fred Watkins passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 in Columbus at the age of 64. He was born on March 16, 1958 in Lafayette, AL to the late Fred Vines and Elizabeth Watkins Underwood.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Watkins will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Progressive interment will follow at Bell Chapel Cemetery in Lafayette, AL.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2022 beginning at 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

Lord have mercy! The news hit me like a ton of bricks. You taught me a lot in this transportation business. I had mad respect for you as a boss and even though we bumped heads, I valued you as my friend. You gave me a lot of advice and pointers and I'll never forget you Mr.Willie! Take your rest. May God be with Mrs. Jackie and the rest of the family.
My good friend Willie. He was one of a couple people I can call a friend. I worked with Mr. Willie for over 15 years and enjoyed every minute of it. He will be missed very much. I will miss him. I already do. May Willie Rest In Peace.
