Obituary For Turner McCrary, Jr.

Mr. Turner McCrary, Jr., passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the age of 93. He was born on March 12, 1933, to the late Turner McCrary, Sr. and Mary Lee Knight McCrary in Fort Valley, Ga.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Aurie Johnson McCrary. Cherishing his memory are his children, Jerome Turner McCrary, Harold Freneau McCrary (Padmini), and Cortina Brown (Xaphine); a host of many other family and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. McCrary, Jr. will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Spirit, Truth, and Liberty Ministries. Service will be live-streamed (see clickable link below)

Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Progressive. Interment will be at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.
