Obituary For Troy Beard
Troy Lenoris Beard departed this life Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in New Orleans, LA. He was 36 years old.
Born in Fort Benning, Georgia he was the only son born from the union of Michael and Georgia Beard. He attended Shaw High School in Columbus, Georgia. He was a 2001 graduate of the Fort Stewart Youth Challenge Academy in Hinesville, Georgia. He attended Columbus Technical College. He was a loved son, brother, father and a friend to many. He is gone but definitely will not be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his brother Victor White, maternal grandparents Francis Weaver, Eddie Weaver, paternal grandfather Charles Thomas and aunt Cathy Haynes.
He leaves behind with cherished memories his mother Georgia Bethune, stepfather Winifred Bethune(Columbus, GA), father Michael Beard, step mother Shirley Beard (Tuscaloosa, AL.), his two children daughter Nila Beard (Columbus, GA), son Cameron Beard(Columbus, GA), paternal Grandmother Mabel Beard (Tuscaloosa, AL.), great aunt Betty (Beard) Rhone (Tuscaloosa, AL.), aunts Edith Beard (Ball, LA), Theresa (Quintin) Morgan(Columbus, GA), Jeanette (Owen) Efanger (Colorado Springs, CO) uncles Eddie (Willene) Weaver(Columbus, GA), Terry Weaver(Columbus, GA),cousin Kya Efanger(Colorado Springs, CO),a loving godmother Cassandra Ficklin (Columbus, Ga) and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Service for Mr. Troy Beard will be held Monday, December 28,2020 graveside at Evergreen Memorial Garden beginning at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Ken Jelks will be officiating.
There will be a visitation Sunday, December 27, 2020 starting at 1:00 PM and ending at 3:00 PM.
