Obituary For Tracey Johnson

Ms Tracey Johnson affectionately known as Sister passed away quietly Wednesday morning while under Hospice care. She was a resident of Orchard View Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing facility and was 86 years old.

Sister was a native of Columbus Georgia and the daughter of the late Tommy and Florine Johnson. An alumni of Spencer High School at the conclusion of her studies she moved to New York City were she worked as a beloved and trusted housekeeper for many families. After her retirement and more than 50 years in her adopted city; she returned to Columbus in 2011 to spend her golden years with her family. Tracey was a loyal Mets fans an avid bingo player and could name that tune in all categories of music. She truly missed her calling as a comedian and “Babygirl” as she was known around the nursing home, was a favorite of both residents and staff. Above all she was a caring, loving, sweet person and will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her devoted sister Joann Teresa Moore, her cherished brothers, William, Eugene, Tommie, John, Cleveland, and Eddie Johnson. Surviving is her treasured sister Maryann Miller (Frank) and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
