Obituary For Steve A. King
Mr. Steve A. King passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the age of 65. He was born on June 28, 1961, in Columbus to Willie Bell Walker King and the late Wilson King, Sr.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. King will be held on Monday November 2, 2026, in the Chapel at Progressive beginning at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Sunday November 1 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Progressive Funeral Home staff considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the Family of Steve A. King.

Add A CondolenceAs a young kid I remember wanting a ride on the back of Steve's motorcycle but I guess I was too young at the time. Instead I watched him give my older brother Bernard a ride. I didn't take it well and I cried my eyes out, lol. I will miss my cousin Steve. Rest in peace.
Steve was my first male childhood friend. We shared so many memories together, all the girls liked him but to me he was like a brother. I wish we could have stayed in touch as we got older, but LIFE didn't permit that. So,to Mrs. Willie Bell, Cynth, and Phyllis I hope that you find strength and peace in knowing that God is in control and he knows it ALL. Much love to y'all from me and my family.
