Obituary For Sharon McCoy
Ms. Sharon McCoy passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on April 19, 1956, to the late Oscar Warren Snipes and Marie Dove Snipes in Columbus.
The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. McCoy will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Progressive.

Sister Sharon McCoy was a wonderful woman of God and a wordsmith's of his Holy Word. I will truly miss worshipping, praising and praying with my Sister in Christ. I thank her children for sharing their mother with me. It was a divine blessed connection in my life. May the peace of the Lord comfort you all.
