Mr. Roderick Demere Layfield "Rod" passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 49. He was born on June 23, 1975, to Willie Layfield, Jr., and Linda Strozier Layfield in Columbus.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Layfield will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Progressive with interment at Green Acres Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 29, from 3 until 6:00 PM.
