Progressive Funeral Home respectfully announces the passing of Reginald Browner age 58 of Albany on June 12, 2022.
A Time to Be Born.... Brother Reginald Keith Browner affectionately known as RED began his earthly journey on July 20, 1963, to the proud parents of Nellie Myrtice Browner and the late Rawlins Nelson Browner in Albany Ga.
He was educated in the Muscogee County Public School System and received his diploma in 1981.
A Time to Reap.... Reginald served in the United States Navy for a short period of time. He also worked various jobs during his lifetime before he became disabled. Reginald was a joy to be around, he loved life and loved his family. Moreover, he was a best friend to his mother.
A Time to Rest.... Reginald took his flight from this life to be forever with the Lord on Sunday, June 12th, 2022, at his home in Albany, Ga.
Preceded him in Death... His Father, Rawlins Nelson Browner; Stepfather, Edgar Jones Sr.; Stepmother, Rev. Janice S. Browner; Stepbrother, Mckebia D Bray, Sr.; half-brother, Antron M Williams; nephew, Ryan Browner; Stepbrother, Jonathan Jones; Stepbrother, Edgar Jones Jr.
A Time to Mourn.... He leaves to cherish his memories to a caring, loving and devoted companion, Linda Johnson; His mother, Nellie Myrtice Browner-Jones: ten siblings, Reginald Harden of Miami, Fl., Rosalyn B Hunter of Columbus, Ga., Kirk A (Jackie) Browner of Louisville, KY., Felecia B (Dewayne) Baker of Conyers, Ga., Trina B Cassell, of Albany Ga., Mckesia B Hester, Arthur F. Bray both from Chesterfield, Va., Titorious M Bray, of Covington, Ga., Lamont Jones, of Atlanta Ga., Valerie Jones-Owens, of Panama City, Fl. and Nieces and a Nephew, Madison Browner, Charkiara Browner, Nakia Browner, Courtney Browner-Harrell and Rawlins Carrington Bray; A host of Aunts and Uncles, Marjette (Robert) Gaines, Ellie C. Brown, Bertha Brown, and Rushia Dean Corley, Johnny Taylor, Arthur Brown, and Charlie Brown. Host of family & friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Reginald will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Progressive with interment following at Green Acres Cemetery.
His visitation will be on Thursday, June 16, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
