Farewell Tribute to Aunt Rachel Proverbs 31 verses 10,25,26 and 31. Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above Rubies. Strength and honour are her clothing, and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates (of heaven). May God's promises and presence be your deepest comfort family. With deepest sympathy. Mark and Wanda

Rachel was a mother and a good friend. We spent hours around her kitchen table and on the phone. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. I will always remember her as a sassy, gorgeous lady with a beautiful smile. Her last words were "pray for me" in our most recent conversation. I pray, you rest well in heaven my dear friend as my heart is heavy. You will be missed.
Love you
Sharon

Many times the Van Don, Angela, Arnell, Christine and I, would drive to visit my grandmother's house in Columbus Georgia. We always stopped by to visit cousin Rachel Douglas and Family. I always made it a point to go by or send a card throughout the years. She always called me Toya. Wishing I could see her smile again. Rest In Peace. Love you for being so loving to me.
