Patricia Lynn Simmons was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and passed away after a tough battle with cancer at the age of 67. Patricia leaves to cherish precious memories, her husband, Wilbur Simmons; children and step-children, Adam Dottle, Danny Dottle, Patrick Reliford, Alexander Simmons (Valerie), Samantha Simmons, William Simmons; Mother, Vera Fry; Sisters, Dianna Deimler (Buzz), Barb Miller; Brothers, Jack Fry Jr (Lori), J.R. Fry, 15 Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Pat is preceded in death by her Father, Jack Fry Sr.
Among her many accomplishments, Patricia graduated from nursing school and soon after led a successful career in Nursing for over 30 years. She also volunteered in the community, serving as the First Lady of The Controllers Civic and Social Club for 10 years.
Patricia was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, who she met in 1993 and married in 2007. She loved and cared for, beyond measure, her children, step-children, grandchildren, and dogs (Gizmo & MiMi, “Mama’s babies”). In addition to the love she gave her family, she dedicated herself to caring for and helping the many patients she encountered during her life-long career as a nurse.
Anyone who knew Patricia would describe her as loving and caring, a great listener (and talker), and a warm and thoughtful woman. Patricia enjoyed cooking, decorating for the holidays, spending time with friends and family, watching Lifetime movies, trips to the Casino, and attending dances hosted by her husband – on the dance floor she was lovingly coined “the tip-toer”.
Words cannot express how deeply Patricia will be missed, God has called her home. We know that Patricia will watch over us all every day, just as she did during her life.

Patricia my heart broke when I got word of your passing. You and I bonded instantly. We shared a lot of laughs and good times when we were together. I will miss the late night Thanksgiving dinners in GA and FL. Our ventures looking for pecans and let not forget the visits to Phenix meats before we packed up to return to FL. I have so many many memories when I think of you. Love you forever..! Heaven received another Angel on July 4. RIP

To my sister, I will cherish the last 4 years we had together, we had gotten so close. I loved coming to visit you. Coming to see you was my first airplane ride ever and it was nothing like I thought it would be. I was scared for nothing. I'm so grateful that I could be there to help you in your time of need. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I wish we would have had more time together and more casino trips but it wasn't meant to be. I will miss you so much and I will be sure to keep in touch with your friends because they have now become my friends to. I love you and miss you already. Love you sis, Barb I was always glad to make you laugh!
