My heartfelt condolences to Rory, Dallas and all of Nadine's family in remembrance of her life. I pray her soul is resting comfortably in the care of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Precious memories, how they linger. How they ever fill my soul! Father God, I thank you for the precious memories created through Nadine's and my friendship during our childhood and as youg adults. We met in the 6th grade at the now named Susan Allen's Elementary and Junior High School. Our friendship began with us having lunch together at the school where we could purchase for sixteen cents (a lot of money back then) a beverage, a grilled cheese sandwich and a cookie. From the 6th grade to our high school's days at South Girard High School, we studied together, played, laughed, danced and did many of the things that children do at each age bracket. In our sophomore year of high school, we both auditioned for two vacancies that were available by popular vote. Nadine and I won those two positions, Rah, Rah, Rah! We were cheerleaders for the South Girard Bulldogs for 3 years. I loved Nadine and will cherish the memories we created together, as friends, forever in my heart. It makes me happy to do so. Thank you, God. GLADYS GRIFFIN SUMBRY
To Ms. Nadine's family, I loved her so much with compassion and respect. She is the reason I am a good person. I was raised right, and I was raised by her. Her soft cheek, and her hugs are something I won't ever forget. She was my rock. Rory, has given me permission to say a few words at the memorial, so I won't say everything here, but please know how much I loved her and will miss her for the rest of my life. Be blessed, and have faith in knowing that without a doubt, she is in heaven with Taffy and Mr. Egg. Love Always!- Laura Tidwell Book
